Recording Artist James Bignon will
highlight the 1st Pastoral Anniversary of Jesus Is Lord
Ministries (JCIL) in McDonough, GA as they honor their
Shepherd, Pastor
Sherri S. Davis
on Sunday, November 5, 2006. Bignon, one of the
country’s most respected and accomplished choir leaders, has
been a powerful force in continuing the tradition of gospel
music for more than 17 years. He conducted a mini choir
workshop at JCIL to prepare for the premier anniversary of one
of the BRC’s most active pastors.
Pastor
Eric D. Jackson, Sr.
founding pastor of the Greater Heights Christian Church,
Snellville, GA., another BRC Church Center, will bring the
3:00 p.m. message in celebration of Pastor Davis’ anniversary.
Pastor Jackson, who is married to Elder Evette Jackson, heads
a multi-cultural, diverse, and Christ- centered church where
everyone can feel a part of and take part in a meaningful
worship and praise! Dr. Frank Bozeman of Global Word,
Montgomery AL, will share the word of
God during morning worship service at 10:00 am.
Pastor
Davis is striving to do God’s work in the McDonough community.
She says, "We are striving to become a saving station for the
McDonough area committed to developing relationships that lead
to Kingdom building. JCIL Ministries' vision is 'We are living
in Christ, fulfilling God’s purposes in preaching God’s Word,
